We shopped around and priced every cabinet we could find from custom-shop, Amish, to factory wholesale. We had a fairly specific need - tall wall and frameless cabinets. Blake was able to crush every other quote, and we saved a lot of money, which was very important to our budget. The cabinets he delivered himself are nothing short of stunning, and ultimately the same basic construction, hardware, and quality of custom cabinets almost twice the cost. We saved by installing ourselves, and he addressed every minor issue with prompt, positive, and very courteous and professional service. Planning a kitchen remodel can be challenging but working with Blake at Roanoke River Cabinetry made it come together very well. We were impressed with the quality of the cabinets, the suggestions regarding new products and the custom-made adaptations for a dual zone wine refrigerator cooler and liquor cabinet. Blake and his installers were very professional, courteous and the finished cabinets contributed to a beautiful, spacious kitchen with a “Wow” factor! The cabinet dividers, spice cabinet, pull out shelf for my mixer, corner “lazy-Susan” (which has worked very well as a small appliance storage area) and pegged drawers made it easy to get the kitchen re-organized. Tom Millehan (Millehan & Assoc. Builders) was our main contractor and we used Roanoke Granitetop for our countertops. All can take pride in providing us with a contemporary kitchen we love.
